Learn how to improve employment outcomes for underrepresented groups by registering for our free learning series today.

ASPECT, in partnership with Free Rein Associates Training Ltd. and Life Strategies Ltd., presents Bridging the Diversity Disconnect: Steps Toward Workforce Success. This series builds on the Diversity Disconnect research project, which originally focused on the employment experiences of Indigenous individuals and persons with disabilities, to share lived experiences, lessons learned, and actionable next steps for employers, Career Development Professionals (CDPs), and community leaders supporting underrepresented workers—particularly in rural and remote communities. We will help you navigate the challenges and opportunities of hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.

Why Attend?

This series is designed for CDPs and employers navigating the challenges and opportunities of inclusive hiring and workforce development. Whether you work directly with individuals striving to secure and maintain meaningful employment or you’re an employer or service provider aiming to foster a more diverse and sustainable workforce, this event will empower you to:

  • Identify practical, community-driven solutions that align with the unique realities of rural and remote employment.
  • Build strategic partnerships to develop sustainable, culturally responsive employment practices.
  • Challenge bias and systemic barriers with increased awareness, authenticity, and respect.

Attendees can participate in the full series or select individual sessions that best align with their needs.

All are free to attend, and each session will include ASL/FSL interpretation and language captioning to ensure accessibility for all participants. Please reach out to us if you require any other accommodations.
