Looking for slides and handouts from past ASPECT Conferences? We've compiled a comprehensive list of resources from 2017 to 2024 on the ASPECT website. These materials are great for your practice or staff training—and best of all, they’re completely free to access!

If you notice any resources missing, it might be due to the rush of wrapping up each conference. If you’ve presented at an ASPECT conference and don’t see your slides or handouts listed, please send them to me along with the year you presented, and I’ll make sure they’re added.

Spotlight on Terry Deakin

I want to highlight one of our returning conference presenters and ASPECT member, Terry Deakin from INEO Employment Services in Port Alberni. Before Christmas, Terry reached out to ask if I could write a foreword for her section in the newly published book I Quit! How to Lose Your Job and Find Your Dream Career.

I’ve always been impressed with Terry, but after reading her story, I gained an even greater appreciation for her incredible journey.

While I haven’t read the entire book yet, I believe her story could be especially inspiring for Career Development Practitioners (CDPs). It’s a great reminder to clients that the path to a dream career isn’t always straightforward.
