IN-PERSON Workshop: Mental Health Strategies for CDPs

Participants will leave this workshop with concrete strategies to support clients and CDPs with mental health challenges. Participants will gain solid information about mental health. If folks have already taken Mental Health First Aid training, this workshop will build on this content. Workshop will cover:

  • Neurobiology and mental health
  • Strategies to support mental health
  • Making appropriate referrals
  • Handling mental health conversations
  • Working with suicide ideation

Seanna Quressette, M.Ed., CCDP has over 35 years experience as a Career Development Professional in front line and management roles. Seanna is also trained in Trauma Therapy. Seanna coordinates the CDP programs at Douglas College.
